Army Chief Gen Asim Munir left for Washington on Sunday for his inaugural visit to the United States since assuming the role last year.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed in a statement that this was Gen Munir`s first visit to the United States as the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), during which he is scheduled to meet senior US military and government officials

4. Israeli tanks blast their way into Khan Yunis

9. Frontier Post founder Rehmat Shah Afridi laid to rest

Senior journalist and founder of The Frontier Post, Rehmat Shah Afridi passed away on Saturday night after a protracted illness, according to his family. He was 74.
The funeral, held at Bagh-i-Naran on Sunday, was attended by relatives, friends, journalists and people from his native Khyber district.
