Perish (verb) تباہ ہونا، مٹ جانا، فنا ہونا

die, especially in a violent or sudden way.
Example: “a great part of his army perished of hunger and disease”
Synonyms: die, lose one’s life, be killed, fall, expire, meet one’s death, be lost, lay down one’s life
Antonyms: be born, be immortal, begin, come into being


Stupor (noun) صدمہ، بے حسی، غفلت

a state of near-unconsciousness or insensibility.
Example: “a drunken stupor”
Synonyms: daze, state of stupefaction, state of senselessness, state of unconsciousness, inertia, torpor
Antonyms: consciousness, wakefulness, activity, interest


Platitude (noun) ہلکا پن، مقالہ، چلتا لفظ، فرسودگی

a remark or statement, especially one with a moral content, that has been used too often to be interesting or thoughtful.
Example: “he masks his disdain for her with platitudes about how she should believe in herself more”
Synonyms: cliché, truism, commonplace, banality, old chestnut, bromide, inanity, tag

Lackadaisical (adjective) سست، ناتواں، پھیکا

lacking enthusiasm and determination; carelessly lazy.
Example: “a lackadaisical defence left Spurs adrift in the second half”

Antonyms: enthusiastic, excited


Deplorable (adjective) افسوسناک، برا، بدقسمتی

deserving strong condemnation; completely unacceptable.

Malicious (adjective) دل کا برا، بدخواہ، حاسد

characterized by malice; intending or intended to do harm.

Synonyms: spiteful, malevolent, hostile, bitter, venomous, poisonous, evil-intentioned
Antonyms: benevolent


Profess (verb) اقرار کرنا، اعلان کرنا، مدعی ہونا

claim that one has (a quality or feeling), especially when this is not the case.

Contrary (adjective) برعکس، الٹ، برخلاف

Neutrality (noun) علیحدگی، غیر جانبداری

the state of not supporting or helping either side in a conflict, disagreement, etc.; impartiality.

Synonyms: impartiality, lack of bias, lack of prejudice, objectivity, open-mindedness, disinterestedness
