Steep (verb) گراں، مہنگا، بہت زیادہ

soak (food or tea) in water or other liquid so as to extract its flavour or to soften it.
Example: “the chillies are steeped in olive oil”
Synonyms: marinade, marinate, soak, souse, macerate, pickle, brine
Antonyms: gradual, reasonable


Prevent (verb) روکنا، منع کرنا، باز رکھنا، ٹوکنا

keep (something) from happening.
Example: “action must be taken to prevent further accidents”
Synonyms: stop, put a stop to, avert, nip in the bud, fend off, turn aside, stave off, ward off
Antonyms: allow, cause, encourage


Defiance (noun) ڈھٹائی، بے باکی، سرکشی

open resistance; bold disobedience.
