OIC, A Completely Failed and Unsuccessful Organization

Islam is the religion of peace, but there is not a single successful platform where Muslim states can settle their disputes through peaceful means.

A platform for the solidarity among the Muslim States is a need of hour , where, Muslim rulers have ruled by and large on all over the world for centuries but unfortunately from last hundreds of years, Muslims are apprised by non-Muslims around the world . In order to redress the grievances of Muslims, an organisation must be formed for the collective voice of the Muslim World like United Nation Organization, European Union or ASEAN.

Unlikely, we have second largest Inter-Governmental Organization OIC, with the 57 member states spread over four continents. However, it has not achieved its objectives. It has failed completely to vouchsafe the interest of the Muslim World to promote international peace and harmony among various people of world. For instance, there are many outstanding conflicts in Syria, Kashmir and Palestine etc. Where OIC has failed to resolve these issues. Moreover , there is no Islamic Bank to uplift and support the Muslim member states economically.

Therefore, if Muslim rulers utilize the platform of OIC in letter and spirit they can resolve internal and external challenges confronted by OIC. It can prove as a best platform to unite 1.5 billion Muslims to safeguard and protect the common interests of all the Muslims across the globe.
