Spurious (adjective) بظاہر ٹھیک، جعلی، دوغلا، نقلی

not being what it purports to be; false or fake.
Example: “separating authentic and spurious claims”
Synonyms: bogus, fake, not genuine, specious, false, factitious, counterfeit, fraudulent, trumped-up
Antonyms: authentic, genuine, real


Accentuate (verb) تاکید کرنا، زور دینا

make more noticeable or prominent.
Example: “his jacket unfortunately accentuated his paunch”
Synonyms: focus attention on, bring/call/draw attention to, point up, underline, underscore, accent
Antonyms: mask, divert attention from


Combustible (adjective) آتش گیر، اشتعال پذیر

able to catch fire and burn easily.
Example: “a combustible gas”
Synonyms: inflammable, flammable, incendiary, explosive, burnable, ignitable
Antonyms: incombustible


Delirious (adjective) دیوانہ، بے قابو، بے ہوش

in an acutely disturbed state of mind characterized by restlessness, illusions, and incoherence; affected by delirium.
Example: “he became delirious and couldn’t recognize people”
Synonyms: incoherent, raving, babbling, irrational, hysterical, wild, feverish, frenzied, deranged

Extricate (verb) بوجھ سے نجات دلانا، رکاوٹ دور کرنا

free (someone or something) from a constraint or difficulty.
Example: “he was trying to extricate himself from official duties”

Warily (adverb) احتیاط سے، ہوشیاری کے ساتھ

cautiously; carefully.
Example: “they walk warily down the street, terrified of being caught”
Synonyms: carefully, with care, cautiously, gingerly, circumspectly, charily, guardedly, on one’s guard
Antonyms: recklessly


Reciprocate (verb) بات برابر کرنا، بدلہ دینا، جوابی عمل کرنا

respond to (a gesture or action) by making a corresponding one.
Example: “the favour was reciprocated”
Synonyms: do the same (in return), respond in kind, return the favour, give as good as one gets
Antonyms: absolve, acquit, excuse, forget


Overture (noun) تحریک، ابتدائیہ، تجویز، التماس

an orchestral piece at the beginning of an opera, play, etc.
Example: “the overture to Mozart’s ‘Don Giovanni’”
Synonyms: prelude, introduction, opening, introductory movement, voluntary, verset
Antonyms: inaction, undemonstrativeness, quiescence


Enthusiastic (adjective) پرجوش، پرولولہ، سرگرمی

having or showing intense and eager enjoyment, interest, or approval.
Example: “he could be wildly enthusiastic about a project”
Synonyms: eager, keen, avid, ardent, fervent, warm, passionate, zealous, lively, vivacious
Antonyms: apathetic


Belligerent (adjective) لڑنے والا، لڑاکو، جنگجو

hostile and aggressive.
Example: “the mood at the meeting was belligerent”
Synonyms: hostile, aggressive, threatening, antagonistic, pugnacious, bellicose, truculent, confrontational
Antonyms: friendly, peaceable
