Proverbial (adjective) ضرب المثل، کہاوتی، مثالی

well known, especially so as to be stereotypical.
Example: “the Welsh people, whose hospitality is proverbial”
Synonyms: well known, famous, famed, renowned, traditional, time-honoured, legendary, notorious
Antonyms: dubious, unfounded, suspicious


Astound (verb) حیرت میں ڈالنا، اچنبے میں ڈالنا

shock or greatly surprise.
Example: “her bluntness astounded him”
Synonyms: amaze, astonish, stagger, surprise, startle, stun, confound, dumbfound, stupefy
Antonyms: bewilder, confound, confuse, dumbfound


Nefarious (adjective) بدکردار، بدمعاش، فاسد

(typically of an action or activity) wicked or criminal.
