The Punjab government has decided to offer a two-year age relaxation across the board to candidates appearing for all posts advertised by the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC), including the Provincial Management Service (PMS).
The Standing Committee of Cabinet on Legislative Business chaired by Punjab Law Minister Basharat Raja last month had approved allowing a one-time one-year age relaxation to candidates aspiring to appear for the PMS competitive examination.
The Punjab government has decided to allow one-time age relaxation to the candidates aspiring to appear for the Provincial Management Service (PMS) competitive examination to be conducted by the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC).
The upper age limit for appearing in the PMS examination is 30.
I. Candidates are informed that Answer Sheet comprises Two Sheets (Pink & Blue). On conclusion of the examination Pink sheet is to be handed over to the invigilating staff. Candidates are allowed to retain Blue sheet for checking their scores. Answer Key will be uploaded on FPSC website on the eve of the examination.

The federal government has said that reforms in the civil service would pave the way for `forced` retirement of delinquent officers from government service and introduction of tough criteria for promotion of bureaucrats.
Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mehmood, who is also chairman of the Cabinet Committee on Institutional Reforms, told a press conference on Wednesday that Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday approved these reforms and that the rules that governed the civil service had been brought in conformity with the reforms.
