the action of reducing the severity, seriousness, or painfulness of something.
Example: “the identification and mitigation of pollution”
Synonyms: alleviation, reduction, diminution, lessening, easing, weakening, lightening, assuagement
Antonyms: intensification

Scepticism (noun) شک کرنے والا، شک کی نظر سے دیکھنا

a sceptical attitude; doubt as to the truth of something.
Example: “these claims were treated with scepticism”
Synonyms: doubt, doubtfulness, dubiousness, a pinch of salt, lack of conviction, disbelief
Antonyms: conviction, belief, faith


Plausible (adjective) اچھا، خوشنما، قرین قیاس

(of an argument or statement) seeming reasonable or probable.
