lasting for a very short time.

Synonyms: transitory, transient, fleeting, passing, short-lived, momentary, brief
Antonyms: long-lived, permanent


Purgatory (noun) مقام کفارہ، بیماری، وقتی عذاب

(in Catholic doctrine) a place or state of suffering inhabited by the souls of sinners who are expiating their sins before going to heaven.
Example: “all her sins were forgiven and she would not need to go to Purgatory”
Synonyms: torment, torture, misery, suffering, affliction, anguish, agony
Antonyms: paradise, bliss


Ascendant (adjective) افضل، آباﺅ اجداد، عروج

rising in power or influence.
Example: “ascendant moderate factions in the party”

Precarious (adjective) غیر یقینی طور پر، غیر مستحکم

not securely held or in position; dangerously likely to fall or collapse.

Vengeance (noun) بدلہ، قصاص، انتقام

punishment inflicted or retribution exacted for an injury or wrong.

Plethora (noun) فراوانی، بہتات، نہایت

a large or excessive amount of something.

Anathema (noun) باعث نفرت، مردود، ملعون

something or someone that one vehemently dislikes.
Example: “racial hatred was anathema to her”

Extort (verb) بھتہ خوری

obtain (something) by force, threats, or other unfair means.
Example: “he attempted to extort money from the company”
