1. Balochistan govt approves digital Zakat payment
The Balochistan caretaker cabinet has given approval to increase the annual grant for the thalassemia unit at Teaching Hospital Gwadar (THG) to Rs10 million.
Additionally, the cabinet has decided to implement digital payment for fixed aid amounts to Zakat beneficiaries across the province to enhance transparency
2. European team due on 27th to review flight safety steps
A team of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and European Commission will arrive in Pakistan on Nov 27 on a four-day visit to review measures taken by the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) regarding issues of pilot licences, airworthiness and flight safety.
According to sources, EASA and European Commission team will arrive in Karachi on Nov 27 and will depart on Nov 30 after completing its visit to Pakistan
3. Two more ministers inducted in AJK cabinet
Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwarul Haq has inducted two female legislators in his already enlarged cabinet, raising the total number of ministers to 31.
According to a Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) notification, which carries the date of Nov 17 but surfaced only on Tuesday, the new ministers were Ms Taqdees Gillani and Ms Imtiaz Nasim.

4. UNHCR raises alarm over Afghans` exit order
The UN Refugee Agency, has raised concerns over Pakistan`s announcement for undocumented foreigners to leave, as the orders have adversely affected Afghan nationals including registered refugees and others with valid documents.
UNHCR Representative in Pakistan Philippa Candler told a press briefing at UN European headquarters in Geneva on Tuesday that mass arrivals back to Afghanistan were adding to the ongoing humanitarian crisis, as winter temperatures in some locations dip to as low as -4°C
5. Israel, Hamas, US, Qatar expect truce, prisoner deal
Hopes mounted on Tuesday that Hamas could release dozens of prisoners from war-torn Gaza after the group`s leader and key mediator Qatar said a truce deal was in sight and the Israeli premier pointed to `progress`.
