1. Punjab govt to present Rs2.ltr budget for next four months, today
The caretaker Punjab government is all set to present its second four-month budget of the ongoing financial year 2023-24 before the cabinet, led by Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, on Monday (today).
Earlier in June, the caretaker government had presented its Erst four month July-October budget to the tune ofRs1.72 trillion after having spent the remaining six months` budget (January-June 2023) approved by the previous PTI government for FY23.
2. Train services at Sibi-Harnai section restored after 18 years
The Pakistan Railways restored train services at Sibi-Harnai section on Sunday. The train services on the section were suspended 18 years ago when militants had destroyed main bridges and railway tracks in 2005.

4. Tariq Jamil`s son dies under `mysterious` circumstances
Asim Jamil, the son of renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil, died of a bullet injury under mysterious circumstances in his hometown Tulamba on Sunday.
Mr Asim, 32, who suffered the bullet injury to his chest, was rushed to the Rural Health Centre (RHC) Tulamba in Khanewal district, where he died during treatment.
Officials at the RHC informed the police, who took the body into their custody and initiated an investigation. Forensic experts reached the scene of the occurrence to collect evidence
