Proverbial (adjective) ضرب المثل، مثالی

(of a word or phrase) referred to in a proverb or idiom.
Example: “I’m going to stick out like the proverbial sore thumb”
Synonyms: well known, famous, famed, renowned, traditional, time-honoured, legendary
Antonyms: dubious, unfounded, suspicious, suspected


Barely (adverb) صرف، بس تھوڑی دیر پہلے، مشکل سے

only just; almost not.
Example: “she nodded, barely able to speak”
Synonyms: hardly, scarcely, just, only just, narrowly, by the skin of one’s teeth
Antonyms: easily


Ambitious (adjective) بلند حوصلہ، حوصلہ مندانہ،امنگ

having or showing a strong desire and determination to succeed.
Example: “a ruthlessly ambitious workaholic”
Synonyms: aspiring, determined, forceful, pushy, enterprising, pioneering, progressive, eager, motivated

Gargantuan (adjective) جمبو، دیوقامت، بہت بڑا
