Pakistan day is adoption of Pakistan resolution by Muslim League at the Minaar e Pakistan. Pakistan resolution 1940 was a major step towards realization of dreams of Muslims of subcontinent.

  • Pakistan resolution was passed by working committees of all Indian Muslim league.
  • It formed the basis for the decision of Muslim league to struggle for the Muslim state for all Muslims.

 

  • One state for all Muslims where all would be equal without any differences.
  • The reality and purpose of Pakistan was to rescue the creed of Muslims.

 

  • Its purpose was to unite the Muslims of subcontinent under Islam.
  • Where all people would gain equal rights.

 

  • Jinnah and Muslim league dreamt of a state where Muslim could live their lives freely without suppression of Hindus or Britishers.

 

  • The aim of Lahore resolution was to protect religious, cultural, economic, political and administrative rights of minorities.

 

  • Thus, every year Pakistan day is celebrated on 23rd March throughout the country with national enthusiasm and spirit.

 

  • The Pakistan day is celebrated to renew the pledge of our fore fathers and making the country strong, progressive and prosperous to satisfy the struggled and sacrifices.
  • The significance of Pakistan day and how our fore fathers sacrifice their lives should be clear to the youth as our youth is the asset.

 

  • The Lahore resolution was a land mark in the history of Muslims living in the subcontinent.
  • Before this, the Muslims of subcontinent had no goal and no future ahead and Muslims in politics remained in the hands of individuals with conflicting interest.

 

  • But after the resolution the struggle of founders of Muslim league particularly and all Muslims as a whole became a reality.
  • This put a greater responsibility on us to protect our mother land from both internal and external changes and fulfill the pledges of our past.
  • Pakistan day was the beginning of the Muslims struggle for separate land and after March 1940, the founders of Muslim league and Muslims of subcontinent where unbeatable, that day marked the victory for the creation of Pakistan.
