Ominous (adjective) بدنما، نحس، منحوس

giving the worrying impression that something bad is going to happen; threateningly inauspicious.
Example: “there were ominous dark clouds gathering overhead”
Synonyms: threatening, menacing, baleful, forbidding, sinister, doomy, inauspicious, unpropitious.
Antonyms: promising, auspicious, propitious.


Grim (adjective) ڈراﺅنا، سخت مزاج

very serious or gloomy.
Example: “his grim expression”
Synonyms: stern, forbidding, uninviting, unapproachable, aloof, distant, formidable, strict, dour.
Antonyms: amiable, pleasant.


Tremendous (adjective) بہت ہی اچھا، لش پش، زبردست

very great in amount, scale, or intensity.
Example: “Penny put in a tremendous amount of time”
Synonyms: very great, huge, enormous, immense, colossal, massive, prodigious, stupendous, monumental.
Antonyms: tiny, small, slight, soft.


Dilute (verb) پتلا کرنا، ملاوٹ کرنا، رقت

make (a liquid) thinner or weaker by adding water or another solvent to it.
Example: “bleach can be diluted with cold water”
Synonyms: make weaker, weaken, thin out, thin, make thinner, water down, add water to, mix, doctor.
Antonyms: concentrate


Vacillate (verb) ڈگمانا، جھومنا، ڈھلنا، لڑکھڑاہٹ

Synonyms: surrender, capitulate, submit, relent, admit defeat, accept defeat, concede defeat.
Antonyms: resist, defy.


Apprehension (noun) فکر مندی، خوف، سراسیمگی

anxiety or fear that something bad or unpleasant will happen.
Example: “he felt sick with apprehension”
Synonyms: anxiety, angst, alarm, worry, uneasiness, unease, nervousness, misgiving, disquiet.
Antonyms: confidence


Afflict (verb) دکھی ہونا، تکلیف میں ڈالنا، ایذا پہنچانا

(of a problem or illness) cause pain or trouble to; affect adversely.
Example: “his younger child was afflicted with a skin disease”
Synonyms: trouble, bother, burden, distress, cause trouble to, cause suffering to, beset, harass.

Breach (noun) خلاف ورزی، وعدہ خلافی، عہد شکنی

an act of breaking or failing to observe a law, agreement, or code of conduct.
Example: “a breach of confidence”
Synonyms: contravention, violation, breaking, non-observance, infringement, transgression, neglect.
Antonyms: respecting, upholding
