Abdicate (verb) دستبردار ہونا، تخت چھوڑنا

(of a monarch) renounce one’s throne.
Example: “in 1918 Kaiser Wilhelm abdicated as German emperor”
Synonyms: resign, retire, quit, stand down, step down, bow out, renounce the throne, demit, resign from,
Antonyms: be crowned, accede to


Dishearten (verb) مایوس کن، ناامیدی

cause (someone) to lose determination or confidence.
Example: “the farmer was disheartened by the damage to his crops”
Synonyms: discourage, dispirit, demoralize, depress, dismay, daunt, deter, unman, unnerve
Antonyms: hearten, encourage, heartened


Duress (noun) سخت، جبر، دباﺅ، ناجائز تشدد

threats, violence, constraints, or other action used to coerce someone into doing something against their will or better judgement.

Vagary (noun) وہم، تغیر، موج

an unexpected and inexplicable change in a situation or in someone’s behaviour.

Antonyms: purpose, determination, judgment, conviction


Moratorium (noun) قرضے میں مہلت، قانونی مہلت

a temporary prohibition of an activity.

Paranoid (adjective) وسوسہ، احتیاط کا
