6. Gazans forced to flee again after Israeli army storms Khan Yunis

Israeli forces reached the heart of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip on Tuesday, prompted a UN warning that it was impossible to create so-called safe zones for civilians to flee to inside the besieged territory.
Separately, at least 45 people were killed by an Israeli air strike on houses in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, health officials said.
`We have received 45 martyrs from the Israeli bombing on the houses of three families in Deir al-Balah in the past hour,` Dr Eyad Al-Jabri, head of the Shuhada Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah told Reuters

The White House issued a dire warning on Monday that US aid for Ukraine will run out by the end of the year, adding that Russian President Vladimir Putin could win the war if Congress fails to agree fresh funding.
President Joe Biden`s budget director, Shalanda Young, said in a blunt letter to Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson that if military assistance dries up it would `kneecap` Kyiv`s fight against the Russian invasion

The United States said on Tuesday it would refuse visas for extremist Israeli settlers who attack Palestinians, stepping up pressure to curb a wave of violence in the occupied West Bank since the Hamas raid of Oct 7.
The measures amount to a rare concrete repercussion by the United States against Israelis in the nearly two-month-old crisis, in which President Joe Biden has nudged the US ally on protecting civilians but also promised strongsupport

The late classical singer is survived by two sons, Suraj Khan and Chand Khan.

10. Pakistan women register maiden series win over New Zealand

Pakistan women registered their first-ever series win against New Zealand when they beat the White Ferns by 10 runs in the second of Twenty20 International to take an unassailable lead on Tuesday.
The victory at the University of Otago Oval was only the second for Pakistan over the hosts, the first coming in the opening match of the three-match series. It made the side the first Asian team to beat New Zealand in a T20 series
