• `We are totally opposed to the idea of decoupling.
• Decoupling is an illusion, Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire told reporters at the French embassy during a visit to Beijing on July 30, 2023.


10. Muslim woman assaulted in India

• A Muslim woman was assaulted and molested by a group of men in Ujjain city of India`s Madhya Pradesh state, according to local media reports.
• The woman, a physiotherapist by profession, was on her way home on Friday when the suspects tried to molest her. When she resisted, the men started beating her, according to a local newspaper, The Free Press fourmal her cousin, who came to her rescue, was also beaten. A video of the incident shared on social media showed men hitting him with iron rods and bats.
