Utterly (adverb) پوری طرح، مکمل طور پر

completely and without qualification; absolutely.
Example: “he looked utterly ridiculous”
Synonyms: completely, totally, absolutely, entirely, wholly, fully, thoroughly, quite, altogether
Antonyms: partly, partially, somewhat


Absurdly (adverb) بے تکا، نامعقول

in an absurd way; ridiculously.
Example: “he brags absurdly about his horse”
Synonyms: preposterously, ridiculously, ludicrously, farcically, laughably, risibly, idiotically, stupidly
Antonyms: reasonably, sensibly, somewhat


Euphemism (noun) خوش کلامی، بری بات کو نرم الفاظ میں ادا کرنا

a mild or indirect word or expression substituted for one considered to be too harsh or blunt when referring to something unpleasant or embarrassing.
Example: “the jargon has given us ‘downsizing’ as a euphemism for cuts”
Synonyms: polite term, substitute, mild alternative, indirect term, understatement, underplaying, softening
Antonyms: dysphemism, calling a spade a spade


Communal (adjective) فرقہ وارانہ، گروہی، بستی کا

shared by all members of a community; for common use.
Example: “a communal bathroom and kitchen”
Synonyms: shared, joint, common, general, public, collective, cooperative, community, communalist
Antonyms: private, individual


Whim (noun) کسک، آرزو، خواہش،موج

a sudden desire or change of mind, especially one that is unusual or unexplained.
Example: “she bought it on a whim”
Synonyms: impulse, urge, notion, fancy, whimsy, foible, idea, caprice, conceit, vagary, kink
Antonyms: actuality, certainty, fact, reality


Autonomous (adjective) خودمختار

(of a country or region) having the freedom to govern itself or control its own affairs.
Example: “the federation included sixteen autonomous republics”
Synonyms: self-governing, independent, sovereign, free, self-ruling, self-determining, autarchic
Antonyms: unfree, dependent


Prevail (verb) باقی رہنا، قائم رہنا ، قائل کرلینا

prove more powerful or superior.
Example: “it is hard for logic to prevail over emotion”
Synonyms: win, win out, win through, triumph, be victorious, be the victor, gain the victory, carry the day
Antonyms: be defeated, come short, fail


Flatten (verb) چپٹانا، ہموار بنانا، یکساں کرنا

make or become flat or flatter.
Example: “her hair had been flattened by the storm”
Synonyms: make/become flat, make/become even, make/become smooth, smooth (out/off), level (out/off)
Antonyms: roughen, make uneven


Lethal (adjective) مہلک، جان لیوا

very harmful or destructive.
Example: “the Krakatoa eruption was the most lethal on record”
Synonyms: fatal, deadly, mortal, causing death, death-dealing, life-threatening, murderous
Antonyms: harmless, safe


Flout (verb) مذاق اڑانا، ہنسی اڑانا، تضحیک کرنا، چڑانا

openly disregard (a rule, law, or convention).
Example: “the advertising code is being flouted”
Synonyms: defy, refuse to obey, go against, rebel against, scorn, disdain, show contempt for
Antonyms: observe
