Human beings by and large are social. They feel an inherent need to connect and expand their connections. There is a deep rooted need among humans to share.
In the past, due to geographical distances and economic concerns, connections between people were limited. A social network is made up of individuals that are connected to one another by a particular type of interdependency. It could be ideas, values, trade, anything.

According to Montesquieu theory of separation of powers there are three pillars / organs of the state i.e. executive, legislature and judiciary. However, media has emerged as the fourth pillar of state…..…
The most practical example is colonial era. The most of Africa was conquered without much of a fight. You can see British in India where most of the states entered subsidiary alliance for help against each other.
The main source by which this is achieved is prestige. How much prestige a nation has easier it is to win. Take German unification, it is the prestige of Prussia which made other nation join her to form German empire. Prestige necessarily doesn’t mean strength. Sometimes past glory developed society will contribute to prestige and victory over stronger nations. Ex-colonial European powers are example.
Another is economic influence, if you have enough economic influence you can win over many nations by exerting economic pressure. Economic sanctions by US and EU. is prime example.
Life on Earth is in decline due to global warming. Despite this realization, the global community has failed to agree and act upon a collective action plan against this grave threat. The dogmatic belief in an economic system centred around the idea of continuous growth and profit, rising populism and weakening international institutions has left the international community thinking about global warming in silos or not thinking about it at all.
Democracy which postulate enlightenment, is, by and large a blessing and illiteracy, which implies ignorance, is a menace.
How can both coexist? Democracy assumes that there is high degree of political consciousness among the public, a fair degree of intelligence and education, and adequate amount of knowledge about public affairs, high regard for national interest and sense of good citizenship.
The contemporary era- that is characterized by an increasingly complex world order- has seen a paradigm shift from holy wars to wars that have geo-economic and geo-political reasons at their core. Even the religious wars have other issues at their heart.
The demand for higher education all over the world, especially in the developing world, has fueled a tremendous growth of private universities. Countries such as India and China, for example, possess increasing space for private universities to flourish either independently or through private-public or private-international partnerships. However, almost without exception the private universities being established in developing countries are of poor quality, and in this case Pakistan is no exception.
Pakistan introduced its first ‘Digital Pakistan policy’ back in 2018. The primary aim of this policy was to bolster the IT industry by building a digital ecosystem. Taking a step forward PM Imran Khan launched a ‘Digital Pakistan Vision’ in December 2019 with an aim of enhancing connectivity, improving digital infrastructure, increasing investment in digital skills, promoting innovation, and tech. entrepreneurship.
Tania Aidrus, who quit her position as a Google executive in order to lead the ‘Digital Pakistan Vision’ initiative, is of the view that the digital policy 2018 needs revisiting. In an interview she said:

Islamophobia, a term expressed to depict fear of Islam is widely used to connote indiscriminate attitudes, beliefs and emotions directed towards Islam or Muslims.
In reference to the Oxford English Dictionary, the word Islamophobia means “Intense dislike or fear of Islam”. It was first coined by French Scholar Alain Quellien, as ‘’Islamphobie” in 1910 to describe a prejudice against Islam that is rife among the people of the West. Later, it was adopted by English Literature in 1923. As a concept in practice, it is considered a new word of an old notion presented by Edward Said in his work on Orientalism where West has always been associating derogatory sentiments and stereotypes to the practices of Islam.
