Article 370 of the Indian constitution used to give special status to the region of Jammu and Kashmir

بھارت کے صدر رام ناتھ کووند نے آئین کے آرٹیکل 370 کو ختم کرنے کے بل پر دستخط کر دیے ہیں جس کے بعد مقبوضہ کشمیر کی خصوصی حیثیت ختم ہو گئی ہے۔

صدر کی منظوری کے بعد آرٹیکل 370 ختم کرنے کے حوالے سے بل بھارت کے ایوان بالا راجیا سبھا میں پیش کیا گیا جس پر بحث ہوئی۔

خیال رہے کہ خصوصی آرٹیکل ختم کرنے کے بعد مقبوضہ کشمیر اب ریاست نہیں بلکہ وفاقی اکائی کہلائے گا، جس کی قانون ساز اسمبلی ہوگی۔
