Know the Secret of Success of Hamza Malik Who Cleared CSS Twice
Hello Dear Aspirants, today we have with us Mr Hamza Malik, who cracked CSS 2018 and has been allocated in MLCG.
Today, he will share his journey with the aspirants and various techniques which he adopted during his preparation of the CSS Exam.
He has cleared CSS twice in 2017 and 2018 with the score of 50+ in English Essay twice. Given the difficulty of this exam, It is indeed a milestone which has to be appreciated.
According to the FPSC, the syllabus for the coming FIA descriptive test has not finalised yet. It will, however, will be based on short Essay, Precis and comprehension passage.

The upper age limit will be relaxed by two years up to the age of 32 years in respect of :
(a) the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Buddhist Community subject to production of a certificate (Annex-A of Application Form) to be issued by DC/ District Magistrate in support of their claim.
(b) The candidates belonging to the recognized Tribes who are permanent residents of the areas mentioned-below and whose families have been living in these areas. Such candidates must attach a certificate (Annex-B of Application Form) to be issued by DC/ District Magistrate in support of their claim:
Definition and Scope of Constitutional Law
What is Constitutional Law?
- That branch of the public law of a state which treats of the organization and frame of government, the organs and powers of sovereignty the distribution of political and governmental authorities and functions, the fundamental principles which are to regulate the relations of government and subject, and which prescribes generally the plan and method according to which the public affairs of the state are to be administered.
- That department of the science of law which treats of constitutions, their establishment, construction and interpretation and of the validity of legal enactments as tested by the criterion of conformity to the fundamental law.
- A constitutional law is one which is consonant to, and agrees with, the constitution: one which is not in violation of any provision of the constitution of the particular state
Constitutional law is a type of public law that revolves solely around the distribution and exercise of government power. In the United States, the constitution is in essence, the framework for which all laws are established and to specify the separation of powers between the three branches (judicial, legislative and executive) of the federal government.
That being said, not all nation states possess a codified constitution. Those that do not; however, will typically utilize some form of law of the land that may consist of a number of consensual rules. These may include international rules on train, the separation of church and state, laws governing governmental powers, various statutory laws, customary law conventions, judge-made laws and an assortment of other frameworks.

Select optional subjects on the basis of your own taste and the scoring trend. If you believe you can study a subject well and its scoring trend, too, is good, choose that one!
Tips for Notes-making
Jot down main points of the topics you study. Make an outline along with main arguments for that topic. They prove to be of real help in the end.
Tips for Revision
Revision is necessary, definitely. Refine your revision by taking a mock exam and by solving past papers.

Atif Ameer (2nd in CSS 2018)
Shanza Faiq is the woman who topped the CSS 2018 examinations. More than 11,887 candidates took the exams and only 567 were able to qualify.
She did her BA LLB from Lahore University of Management Sciences and then completed her LLM from the University of Warwick in 2017.
“My story is very different from the rest of the people,” she said while speaking on SAMAA TV programme Naya Din on Tuesday. “I had only two-and-a-half to three months to prepare for the exams, while other people study for it for a year.”
